Abstract: A Future Realm Where Technology Meets Art

As a shining cultural landmark in Shenzhen, the Shenzhen Museum of Contemporary Art and Urban Planning embodies futuristic architectural language and immersive exhibition narratives, vividly telling the “Shenzhen Story” of a new era.

Here, Unilumin’s customized fine-pitch LED screens, creative transparent displays, and sliding-rail screens integrate seamlessly with Colorlight’s advanced control technologies. Together, they link the grand blueprint of urban planning, the allure of landmark architecture, the warmth of humanistic art, and the power of technological innovation—unfolding a breathtaking visual feast that transcends time and space.

Technology Empowered, Immersive Urban Storytelling

Walking through the museum, the most awe-inspiring highlight is undoubtedly the core installation in the Bay Area Urban Exhibition Hall—“The Shenzhen Scroll.” This 72-meter LED mega-screen installation, built by Unilumin and powered by Colorlights control system (with over 40 sets of 4K controllers in a redundant backup architecture), flows like a river of light and imagery. Achieving zero-latency precision synchronization, it dynamically recreates Shenzhens 45 years of remarkable development.

The city’s skyline rises and transforms before your eyes—the waves of Dameisha, the bustling traffic of Shennan Boulevard, the cranes shaping Qianhais rise… Shenzhens journey of struggle and triumph unfolds as a living visual epic, immersing audiences in the miracle city’s rise.

Diverse Scenarios, A Holographic Urban Landscape

The immersive storytelling of the museum extends far beyond the scroll:

Ecological Civilization Exhibition Area: The sliding-rail LED installation vividly presents the city’s oceans, coastlines, land, and functional zoning, envisioning a future of harmony between people and nature.

Holistic Interconnection: Across multiple exhibition halls, a wide array of customized LED displays—from fine-pitch screens to creative transparent panels—builds multidimensional immersive routes, guiding visitors deep into the fabric of the city to experience the pulse of its history and the brilliance of its achievements.

Core Technologies, The Foundation of Excellence

The Museum serves as a vibrant “urban living room,” embodying Shenzhen’s spirit and welcoming citizens and visitors alike. Colorlight’s control technologies and Unilumin’s display bring frozen moments of urban history to life, making them tangible and interactive, while transforming abstract visions of the future into vivid, experiential realities.
